I would like to extend deep sense gratitude and felicitation on behalf of Samara University that is dedicated to bring up competent citizens who are capable of addressing the multifaceted problems of their country. Samara University situated in the Afar region of Ethiopia, a cradle of mankind, is one among the 45 higher learning institutions established in 2008. There are seven colleges, one school and 45 departments catering students in different areas of undergraduate and graduate studies. At this juncture, the numbers of students enrolled in our University are more than 9000, coming from different parts of the country. We are working towards creating more access to higher education through increasing intake capacity and expanding academic programs offered.

The members of our faculty and staff are dedicated and always supportive to students which enhance the rate of success and setting out their currier goals.
